This is my first attempt at getting the page up and on the web.. If your bio is not here, I could not locate it inside my inbox at grdavis04@comcast.net. Some of you have asked me to pull the bio off of previous hunts. I can do that as long as you tell me what team you were on, and as long as that info is still available. I am having a rough time getting the pictures to load into the profiles, and hope to have that cracked in the next few hours. Keep the pictures, and finds coming so that when I do crack the problem, we'll be golden.
Thanks,
Glenn
I'm Mike Titus ( Mike - Pa. Bucktail ) from central Pennsylvania and this is the first time I have had opportunity to be a team captain, I must say, I'm very proud of being the Captain of the Fisher team this year I have been on most of the GNRS, North South, GRD hunts, and was very priviledged to be invited to the Mardi Gras hunt in 2007. I carry and cherish a lot of great memories of great finds made by all, great storys shared, many moments of laughter, and let me not forget the wonderful friendships made on these hunts. I know this hunt will be no exception!
The machines I use are the Tejon, Tiger Shark, Nautilus, and the F-75. One of the reasons I'm proud to be captain this year, is because the F-75 has brought the Fisher team into a new realm of hunting with a technology that will only assist us along victory lane. I say this, because I believe many of the hunters on our team will be using the F-75 or one of Fisher's newer machines and when you combine this with the list of seasoned hunters I see on the team, well, all I can say is, " What A Great Team." I believe the time has come and I'm looking forward to a mememorable team photo when we walk away with the trophy this year. I'm looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you there and seeing all the great finds that will be made. I would also like to thank Mike Scott for all he has done and is doing for the team, through his knidness and generosity. Thanks Mike. Go Team Fisher!!!
I'm from Dallas Georgia, and live on the New Hope batlefield. This will be my first GNRS hunt. I have been swinging since my grandfather got me started in the mid 80s. I have had experience with White's Coinmaster, Eagle Spectrum, and Goldmaster VSAT, Minelab's Quattro, and Excalibur, and most recently Fisher's 1236X2 and the F-75. I will be using the F-75 on this hunt with my 1236 backing me up. I have had some good finds in the course of my hunting, but have never, not once, never ever, found a button!!! I expect to break that streak on this hunt. Go Team Fisher!!!!!
I currently live in Gainesville, Virginia, where I moved from Greensboro, NC 15 months ago. I retired from the Army after 24 years and retired from thewireless industry. I have been metal detecting for about 25 years, with primary interest in CW relics in the past 10-15 years. I mainly use the F 75 with the small coil as I find that the small coil forces me to slow down, over lap and allows me to get into thick areas where other people have passed by. One of the greatest things about relic hunting is the people I
have met while out in the fields, woods or on line in Treasure Depot and the Depot Hunts. I have made quite a few friends that way and enjoy getting together with them to hunt. I would rather relic hunt with someone as it is great to have the comradery and see their finds also.

I got my first "real" metal detector when I was 13 - a Whites 4000D. Here I am now, almost 30 years later, and I count over a dozen different detectors that have passed through my hands... the list includes a Whites DFX & XLT, a Nautilus DMC-IIB, a Tesoro Tejon, and my latest model - a Fisher F-75 that I bought a little over a year ago. Hands down, the F-75 is the deepest and most sensitive machine I've ever owned. I don't think I've put 5 hours on any of my other machines since I bought it.
Originally a coin-hunter, I first started relic hunting back around 1990 when a friend took me to one of General Burnside's hunted-out camps up in Maryland... I found one round-ball and one pistol ball that day - and I've been hooked on this "obsession" we call a "hobby" ever since! This will be my second GNRS Hunt - and with this one coming to my home state of South Carolina, I am really looking forward to it! You all are going to love the SC soil, and I think you will find that the F-75's have a distinct advantage over the rest of the pack when it comes to reaching down into that sweet Low-country dirt! I've been fortunate to find some really nice stuff over the years, but within the last year, the F-75 has helped add to my collection a Silver C.W. ID Badge, a tiny 10mm Block-I Kepi Button and most recently, a US Buckle and Box Plate that I found in the heavily mineralized soil of North-central, VA (I won't tell you how deep they were, because non-F75 hunters would call me a liar!).
If it beeps, Dig-it!

Hello, my name is Wilson Smith and I live on a farm near
I lost my precious wife in a plane crash
I look forward to seeing all of you in January. O yes, I presently use a CZ3D and Edge. For you trivia experts: I was a navy pilot and, and at one time, flew the world’s largest (longest) aircraft. What was it?
Hey all you fellow diggers. My name is Don Killian and I am so excited to be on Fishers Team for this years hunt. I am a retired United States Marine, retired back in Oct 2005 after 20 years of service (got tired of getting shot at all the time!). There is no slowing down after retirement, I am working full time at a big box store home improvement type as the stores Loss Prevention/Safety and Hazardous material specialist. I do find some time to detect every so often. I started out a couple years ago beach detecting and I now favor relics. Everything I find is a treasure to me and I can’t wait until I hit the mother load like some of you have. I will be using a Fisher CZ-70 Pro and a good friend of mine offered his F-75 to me to use also. I am really looking forward to using the F-75. I would like to own one someday. I am married and have two great kids my son will be 19 in Jan and my daughter will be 16 soon. My wife of 22 years man you have got to love her for putting up with all my crap over the years. She still does not get what I get out of digging all day and all I have to show is a button or a whatzit. Come to think of it she never got it when I went Bass fishing all day and did not bring anything home, catch and release I told her and she would just shake her head. Like I really wanted to cut the grass right?????? Looking forward to meeting you all and please don’t mind me if I start picking your brain for knowledge because that’s important to have.
